Ezekiel 40 and Revelation 21 Parallel Chart


It is popular to teach that Ezekiel 40-48/Isaiah 60 occurs during the 1,000 year Earthly Millennial Kingdom and Revelation 21 is the New Heavens/New Earth respectively. However, when you develop a parallel chart between both passages, this is NOT the case.

We see that Ezekiel 40/Isaiah 60 and Revelation 21 is talking about the SAME thing: A figurative description of the Beautiful Jewels/adornment of Christ's Church, not a literal structure. Therefore, the Premil reader is struck with massive confusion and dissonance. Either Ezekiel 40/Isaiah 60 and Revelation 21 are both talking about Heaven or they are both talking about the Millennial Kingdom. They are NOT different events! Support is below.

INTRODUCTION Picture yourself as a Jew in the exile. You lost your home, your family, and even questioning your faith in the midst of God’s promises. You are traumatized and broken by the events that have transpired. All hope seems loss. Then Ezekiel the Priest says that you will inherit a new Temple and a new land with more responsibility added to you.
