Hell is NOT the Lake of Fire

Hell is NOT the Lake of Fire

Here is a list of New Testament verses that mention hell. Hell is a conflated term. It is not a single place and it is not the Lake of Fire (which many Christians claim out of confusion). See below for support.

1. Gehenna (Burning Garbage Dump)

Mark 9:45 – "And if your foot causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life lame than with two feet to be thrown into hell."

Mark 9:47 – "And if your eye causes you to sin, tear it out. It is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye than with two eyes to be thrown into hell."

Luke 12:5 – "But I will warn you whom to fear: fear him who, after he has killed, has authority to cast into hell. Yes, I tell you, fear him!"

2. Hades/Sheol (Temporary Realm of the Dead/The Grave, Sometimes Translated as "Hell")
