God is not waiting for us to hit the “jackpot” of perfect doctrine, as if salvation were a slot machine that rewards only those who land on the exact theological combination while sentencing everyone else to destruction. Scripture shows that what He desires is humility, not the pride that comes from thinking we’ve mastered divine truth. Yet the modern church often chases doctrinal precision as if it were the ultimate goal, turning faith into a competitive game of who’s most correct. This is a fool’s errand—truth matters, but without humility it becomes a weapon rather than a light.

INTRODUCTION Picture yourself as a Jew in the exile. You lost your home, your family, and even questioning your faith in the midst of God’s promises. You are traumatized and broken by the events that have transpired. All hope seems loss. More responsibility that you couldn’t fulfill the first time, which is why you are exiled in the first place. And get this, it is all invisible.
