The Theophoric Names of EL and Yahweh

The Theophoric Names of EL and Yahweh

The God of the Bible is two local gods stitched together in Exodus 6:2-3. El the Caananite god and Yahweh. You can tell by the names people name their kids. You can see how the names transition too. The same thing is with Baal names too.

Jerem-IAH Zechar-IAH Azar-IAH Isa-IAH JEHO-shaphat JO-shua JO-chebed Transition names Jo-EL - Yahweh is EL ( God) Elijah - My EL (God) is Yahweh Eliakim changes to Jehoiakim in 2 Chronicles 36:4 You rarely see any EL names in the New Testament. Yahweh names are rare as well later. Everyone starts having a Greek/Roman name..
