Deuteronomy 32:5 5They have dealt corruptly with him; they are no longer his children because they are blemished; they are a crooked and twisted generation.

Deuteronomy 32:20 he said, ‘I will hide my face from them; I will see what their end will be, for they are a perverse generation, children in whom is no faithfulness.

NOTE: This title specifically refers to National Israel, not Gentile nations.

Matthew 1:17 17 So all the generations from Abraham to David were fourteen generations, and from David to the deportation to Babylon fourteen generations, and from the deportation to Babylon to the Christ fourteen generations.

NOTE: According to Matthew 1, we see that 14 generations passed from the Babylonian captivity until the time of Jesus’ ministry. When we notice that Babylon took Judah into captivity in 586 BC,  we can calculate that each of these 14 generations was about 40 years. It’s 42 years to be exact. (586 ÷14 = 42). Now if we examine the Prediction of the Temple’s Destruction (30AD) within one generation (40 years). We can see that this is true for the events of 70 AD. The Roman armies destroyed the Temple 40 years later from Jesus’ Prophecy.

Matthew 5:18 18 For truly, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass from the Law until all is accomplished.

NOTE: The Heavens and Earth pertained to the Law/Old Covenant in figurative descriptions. The Veil/Curtains had a picture of the Heavens & Earth. The Old Covenant Law was the “Center of the Universe.” Christ is the fulfillment of the Law in order to inaugurate the New Heavens and Earth for the New Covenant. If this didn't come true, we are still under the Law, not Grace!!

Matthew 11:16 16 “But to what shall I compare this generation? It is like children sitting in the marketplaces and calling to their playmates

Matthew 12:39 39 But he answered them, “An evil and adulterous generation seeks for a sign, but no sign will be given to it except the sign of the prophet Jonah.

Matthew 12:41-42 41 The men of Nineveh will rise up at the judgment with this generation and condemn it, for they repented at the preaching of Jonah, and behold, something greater than Jonah is here. 42 The queen of the South will rise up at the judgment with this generation and condemn it, for she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon, and behold, something greater than Solomon is here.

Matthew 12:45 45 Then it goes and brings with it seven other spirits more evil than itself, and they enter and dwell there, and the last state of that person is worse than the first. So also will it be with this evil generation.

Matthew 16:4 4 An evil and adulterous generation seeks for a sign, but no sign will be given to it except the sign of Jonah.” So he left them and departed.

Matthew 16:28 28 Truly, I say to YOU, there are SOME STANDING HERE who will not taste death UNTIL they SEE the Son of Man coming in his kingdom.”

NOTE: This refers to the Apostle John awaiting to see Christ return in judgment during 70AD. If this refers to beyond the 21^st century, this means three things: Jesus is a liar and made a huge mistake (All the apostles are dead now), one of the Apostles is 2,000 years old and still alive, or most of the events of the Olivet discourse were fulfilled in 70AD.

Matthew 17:17 17 And Jesus answered, “O faithless and twisted generation, how long am I to be with you? How long am I to bear with you? Bring him here to me.”

Matthew 23:34-36 34 Therefore I send you prophets and wise men and scribes, some of whom you will kill and crucify, and some you will flog in your synagogues and persecute from town to town, 35 so that on you may come all the righteous blood shed on earth, from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zechariah the son of Barachiah, whom you murdered between the sanctuary and the altar. 36 Truly, I say to you, all these things will come upon this generation.

NOTE: This is judgment-specific for National Israel

Matthew 24:34 34 Truly, I say to you, this generation will not pass away UNTIL all these things take place.

NOTE: This pertains to the seven seals of Revelation. A parallel comparison between Matthew 24 and Luke 17 shows that these two passages cannot be divided. They are both mirror passages of 70AD and not the Rapture.

NOTE: Compare with Matthew 23:36, also Matthew 11:16 12:41

NOTE: This refers to the Apostle John. Compare Matthew 5:18, 16:28, and John 21:22 with Matthew 24:1-34

Acts 2:40 40 And with many other words he bore witness and continued to exhort them, saying, “Save yourselves from this crooked generation.”

NOTE: Peter is talking to National Israel at this time.

Philippians 2:15 15 that you may be blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and twisted generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world,(Parallel Daniel 12:3, Matthew 13:43)

Daniel 12:3 3 And those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the sky above; and those who turn many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever.

Matthew 13:43 43 Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears, let him hear.

Matthew 24:29-31 29 “Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 30 THEN WILL appear in heaven the sign of the Son of Man, and THEN ALL the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31 And he will send out his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. See Daniel 7:13-14 for support.

NOTE: Notice that AFTER the Tribulation, stars will fall and then Christ will come on the clouds. Notice that all through the Bible there are two phrases: Nations of the Earth and Tribes of the Land. There is no such thing as the Tribes of the Earth. This is a faulty translation. This should say Tribes of the Land.

End Note

There are two Greek words genos (race) and genea (generation).Some have argued that genea means the last generation before the end of the world; that is, once the signs are present, all these events will happen in one generation (Matthew 23:36). However, we see in Matthew, that genea means the people alive during the time of Jesus. Jesus’ contemporaries (see Matthew 1:17; 11:16; 12:39,41,45; 23:36; Mark 8:38; Luke 11:50; 17:25).

Stipulations before Jesus 70 AD Coming

Matthew 5:18 18 For truly, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass from the Law until all is accomplished.

NOTE:Christ is the fulfillment of the Law in order to inaugurate the New Heavens and Earth for the New Covenant. If this didn't come true, we are still under the Law, not Grace!!

Matthew 10:23 23 When they persecute you in one town, flee to the next, for truly, I say to you, you will NOT have gone through all the towns of Israel BEFORE the Son of Man comes.

NOTE: The Apostles were meant to fail their evangelistic efforts with the Jews

Matthew 16:28 28 Truly, I say to you, there are some standing here who will not taste death UNTIL they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom.”

NOTE: Again, this refers to the Apostle John. Otherwise, Jesus is a liar/makes an error or there is a 2,000 year old Apostle waiting for the End Times.

Matthew 24:34 34 Truly, I say to you, this generation will not pass away UNTIL all these things take place.

NOTE: These things are listed from Matthew 24:3-31-These are the 7 seals of Revelation.

Matthew 26:64 64 Jesus said TO HIM, “YOU have said so. But I tell YOU, from now on YOU will see the Son of Man seated at the right hand of Power and coming on the clouds of heaven.”

NOTE: This refers to the Pharisees and National Israel witnessing Christ bringing judgment to National Israel in 70 AD.
