During 70 AD, did Christ sprinkled his blood on the mercy seat in the Holy of Holies in Heaven?

In the Old Testament, we see God gave Moses/David/Solomon instructions to build/organize the Tabernacle/Temple. The phrase “patterned after Heaven” is mentioned with these structures.

Ezekiel 40-48 is the reader’s introduction to the Heavenly Temple. Hebrews 9:11-12 is one of the most controversial passages in the Bible. However, Ezekiel 40-48 sheds light into how we should interpret Hebrews 9:11-12. In Ezekiel 40-48, we see that the Prince (Jesus) is waiting for a particular time in the outer court to make the National Sacrifice for Spiritual Israel/Church during the Day of Atonement in 70 AD. The Prince/High Priest has to take his sacrifice to the Holy of Holies to make atonement for His people. This is the New Covenant described in Old Testament language in order for the Jewish Elect to understand the future.

Based on these passages, it appears that Christ’s crucifixion/ascension fulfilled the first 4 Feasts during the Spring season: Passover, Unleavened Bread, 1st Fruits, and Pentecost.

The last 3 Feasts were fulfilled in the Fall season of 70 AD (when the Romans crushed the Jews): Trumpets, Day of Atonement, and Booths.

When this was fulfilled in 70 AD, the Heavenly Temple came to Earth. Earth was slowly transforming into Heaven.

Since the Old Testament’s Day of Atonement consisted of a two part sequence - killing one goat while sprinkling its blood on the Mercy Seat and releasing the other goat into the wilderness, why do we only knowledge Christ’s sacrifice as a single event and not as a two part process? The first part was to establish Christ as an everlasting High Priest (he is sinless). The second part was to redeem the people of Spiritual Israel-The Church.

·         Hebrews 9:11-12 English Standard Version 11 But when Christ appeared as a high priest of the good things that have come, then through the greater and more perfect tent (not made with hands, that is, not of this creation) 12 he entered once for all into the holy places, not by means of the blood of goats and calves but by means of his own blood, thus securing an eternal redemption.

·         Hebrews 9:24 English Standard Version 24 For Christ has entered, not into holy places made with hands, which are copies of the true things, but into heaven itself, NOW to appear in the presence of God on our behalf

·         Hebrews 9:8 English Standard Version 8 By this the Holy Spirit indicates that the way into the holy places is NOT YET OPENED as long as the first section is still standing

·         Revelation 11:19 English Standard Version 19 Then God's temple in heaven was OPENED, and the ark of his covenant was seen within his temple. There were flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder, an earthquake, and heavy hail.

·         Leviticus 16:15 English Standard Version 15 “Then he shall kill the goat of the sin offering that is for the people and bring its blood inside the veil and do with its blood as he did with the blood of the bull, sprinkling it over the mercy seat and in front of the mercy seat

·         Ezekiel 40:5 English Standard Version 5 And behold, there was a WALL all around the outside of the temple area, and the length of the measuring reed in the man's hand was six long cubits, each being a cubit and a handbreadth in length. So he measured the thickness of the WALL one reed; and the height, one reed

·         Ezekiel 44:1-3 English Standard Version 44 Then he brought me back to the outer gate of the sanctuary, which faces east. And it was shut. 2 And the Lord said to me, “This gate shall remain shut; it shall not be opened, and NO ONE shall enter by it, for the Lord, the God of Israel, has entered by it. Therefore it shall remain shut. 3 Only the prince may SIT IN IT to eat bread before the Lord. He shall enter by way of the vestibule of the gate, and shall go out by the same way.”

·         Ezekiel 46:1-3 English Standard Version 46 “Thus says the Lord God: The gate of the inner court that faces east shall be shut on the six working days, but on the Sabbath day it shall be opened, and on the day of the new moon it shall be opened. 2 The prince shall enter by the vestibule of the gate from outside, and shall take his stand by the post of the gate. The priests shall offer his burnt offering and his peace offerings, and he shall worship at the threshold of the gate. Then he shall go out, but the gate shall not be shut until evening. 3 The people of the land shall bow down at the entrance of that gate before the Lord on the Sabbaths and on the new moons.

·         Revelation 15:8 English Standard Version 8 and the sanctuary was filled with smoke from the glory of God and from his power, and NO ONE could enter the sanctuary until the seven plagues of the seven angels were finished.

·         Revelation 21:2 English Standard Version 2 And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

******The altar in Revelation is the same altar of incense (Heaven’s Holy Place) in Ezekiel 40:47/43:13-27******

Revelation 8:3-5 English Standard Version 3 And another angel came and stood at the altar with a golden censer, and he was given much incense to offer with the prayers of all the saints on the golden altar before the throne, 4 and the smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, rose before God from the hand of the angel. 5 Then the angel took the censer and filled it with fire from the altar and threw it on the earth, and there were peals of thunder, rumblings, flashes of lightning, and an earthquake.

Revelation 16:7 English Standard Version 7 And I heard the altar saying, “Yes, Lord God the Almighty, true and just are your judgments!”

Isaiah 6:6 English Standard Version 6 Then one of the seraphim flew to me, having in his hand a burning coal that he had taken with tongs from the altar.
