                                              Flesh and Blood and Better Promises

 Flesh and Blood always meant Physical Body and Spiritual Body always meant Heavenly Body. It is not a body that comes out of the ground !! It is a body that you receive in Heaven.

**There is only TWO PHYSICAL FLESH AND BLOOD RESURRECTIONS IN THE NEW TESTAMENT: Jesus the Christ and the dead saint of Matthew 27:50-53 (who are the 1st Fruits & Wave offering of the New Covenant-part of the 144,000 in Revelation). They are now "waving" their living bodies to the people of Jerusalem**
It is when people get to 1 Corinthians 15 that their fear or cognitive dissonance kicks in and make all these interpretive and logic leaps to justify a physical resurrection.
**Further down the word "BETTER" is associated with spiritual and heavenly things. Again, the BETTER resurrection is a spiritual body resurrection.**

"For we do not wrestle against FLESH AND BLOOD, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places."


1 Corinthians 15:50
"Now this I say, brethren, that FLESH AND BLOOD cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does corruption inherit incorruption."

"But now He has obtained a more excellent ministry, by as much as He is also the mediator of a BETTER COVENANT, which has been enacted on better promises."

Hebrews 10:34
"For you showed sympathy to the prisoners and accepted joyfully the seizure of your property, knowing that you have for yourselves a BETTER POSSESSION and a lasting one."

Hebrews 11:16
"But as it is, they desire a BETTER COUNTRY, that is, a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God; for He has prepared a city for them."

Hebrews 12:24
"and to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood, which SPEAKS BETTER than the blood of Abel."

Hebrews 11:35-36
"35 Women received back their dead by resurrection; and others were tortured, not accepting their release, so that they might obtain a BETTER RESURRECTION 36 and others experienced mockings and scourgings, yes, also chains and imprisonment."

Revelation 12 V1-2: We see the same imagery of Joseph’s dream here in Genesis 37:9-11. Israel (representing Jerusalem as well in Matthew 2:18) is described as the Daughter of Zion-a dying mother; specifically, Rachel who died tragically during pregnancy.
