Jesus and Achan Both Men are from the Tribe of Judah • Joshua 7 7 But the people of Israel broke faith in regard to the devoted things, for Achan the son of Carmi, son of Zabdi, son of Zerah, of the tribe of Judah, took some of the devoted things. And the anger of the Lord burned against the people of Israel. • Hebrews 7:13-14 13 For the one of whom these things are spoken belonged to another tribe, from which no one has ever served at the altar. 14 For it is evident that our Lord was descended from Judah, and in connection with that tribe Moses said nothing about priests. ***See also Matthew 1:1-6, Luke 3:23-38 23. Both Men Experienced an Investigation, Trial, and Execution • Joshua 7:14-15 14 In the morning therefore you shall be brought near by your tribes. And the tribe that the Lord takes by lot shall come near by clans. And the clan that the Lord takes shall come near by households. And the household that the Lord takes shall come near man by man. 15 And he who is taken wit...

Ezekiel 28 is not about Satan: An Examination of a Faulty Interpretation by Tradition Part 2 Tradition states that Satan was thrown out of heaven into Eden. Once he was in Eden, Satan tempted Adam and Eve. However, the text says that this individual was in Eden  BEFORE  he has sinned. Once his sin was found out, he was excommunicated. Also, consider that Eden was on earth, not in heaven (Genesis. 2:8-14 describes Eden’s boundaries). Therefore, this individual was expelled out of Eden, not Heaven. If anything this individual relates more to a type of Adam, not Satan.   When you compare Ezekiel 27:3, 28:12; 27:16, 17 with 28:13; 27:33, 28:16, we can see that the text is about the Prince-King of Tyre. Prince and King are used interchangeably in scripture. An example can be found in 1 Samuel 9:16; 10:1 with King Saul. This is not talking about the literal Garden of Eden with Adam and Eve. Also, the sin is about getting rich/trading silver and gold, not leading an a...
