The Seal of Daniel and the Seal of John in Revelation:Great Tribulation-Past or Future? Daniel was told that the fulfillment of his visions was a long way off, and about 600 years later John was told that fulfillment was right around the corner.Daniel and John received the same visions of Revelation. See support below. Daniel 7:25 25 He shall speak words against the Most High, and shall wear out the saints of the Most High , and shall think to change the times and the law; and they shall be given into his hand for a time, times, and half a time . By cross examining these verses, we see similarities connected to the covenants and not so much with the Left Behind Rapture. In Exodus 19, we see the establishment of the Old Covenant and Judaism while in 1 Thessalonians 4 we see the establishment of the New Covenant and Christianity. We see similar verses in the Old/New Testament that explains this reality. See below. Isaiah 11:10-13 In that day the root of Jesse , who shall stand as a signal for the peoples —of him shall the nations inquire, and his resting place shall be glorious. In that day the Lord will extend his hand yet a second time to recover the remnant that remains of his people, from Assyria, from Egypt, from Pathros, from Cush, from Elam, from Shinar, from Hamath, and from the coastlands of the sea. Questions for Pretribulation Christians What is the role/function of faith if believers can see Christ physically during the Earthly Millennium Kingdom? What is the role/function of prayer? What is the role/ function of the Holy Spirit since His purpose was to compensate for Christ's absence( John 16:7)? How are we attacked by Gog and Magog (Russia) and Israel is randomly called "A People of Unwalled Villages"? Israel is called unwalled villages in Zechariah 2:4 and Esther 9:19. Zechariah and Esther were in the past, so why is Israel being referred to a past name 2,000 years plus ago? It is presumed that the Antichrist commits blasphemy in the 3rd Temple at the 3.5 mark of the 7 years, but we go back to the problem in Ezekiel 38:11 where Israel is described as "A People of Unwalled Villages". They cannot be called "unwalled" since there is clearly a literal Temple with walls (Ezekiel 40-48)? In Ezekiel 38, Chief Prince is translated in Hebrew as ...
