To Be Sent and to Come From Verses: Origin passages   *To be SENT OUT by God and to COME FROM God doesn't mean to pre-exist in a heavenly realm.*   TO BE SENT VERSES John 1:6, 3:17, 16:21,28,17:14,17:18, 18:37, 20:21; Mark 16:15;2 John 1:7;1 John 4:1,9   John 1:6 English Standard Version 6 There was a man  SENT FROM GOD , whose name was JOHN. Pre-existence verses used for Jesus

P re-existence verses used for Jesus Alleged Pre-existence verses   Micah 5:2 English Standard Version 2 But  YOU , O Bethlehem Ephrathah, who are too little to be among the clans of Judah, from  YOU  shall come  forth  FOR ME  one who is to be ruler in Israel, whose coming forth is from of old, from ancient days.   NOTE: This verse should be rendered "whose coming prophecy is from ancient times." This prophecy is given in 2 Samuel 7, 1 Chronicles 17, and Psalm 2. The Hebrew words are qedem (ancient) and olam (old). They do not refer to an eternal past, but to a historical period within Israelite antiquity. See usage in Amos 9:11; Psalm 44:1-3, 77:5,11; Micah 7:14,20; Isaiah 63:11...

Zechariah 5:1-11: The Flying Scroll and Lady Wickedness

Zechariah 5:1-11: The Flying Scroll and Lady Wickedness Zechariah 5:1-11 English Standard Version A Vision of a Flying Scroll 5 Again I lifted my eyes and saw, and behold, a flying scroll! 2 And he said to me, “What do you see?” I answered, “I see a flying scroll. Its length is twenty cubits, and its width ten cubits.”3 Then he said to me, “This is the curse that goes out over the face of the whole land. For everyone who steals shall be cleaned out according to what is on one side, and everyone who swears falsely shall be cleaned out according to what is on the other side. 4 I will send it out, declares the Lord of hosts, and it shall enter the house of the thief, and the house of him who swears falsely by my name. And it shall remain in his house and consume it, both timber and stones.” NOTE: The scroll is the same size as Solomon's outer porch area in 1 Kings 6:3 and Revelation 11:1-2. Th...

Zechariah 6:1-17 The Horsemen and Crown

Zechariah 6:1-17 The Horsemen and Crown Zechariah 6 English Standard Version 6 Again I lifted my eyes and saw, and behold, four chariots came out from between two mountains. And the mountains were mountains of bronze. 2 The first chariot had red horses, the second black horses, 3 the third white horses, and the fourth chariot dappled horses—all of them strong.4 Then I answered and said to the angel who talked with me, “What are these, my lord?” 5 And the angel answered and said to me, “These are going out to the four winds of heaven, after presenting themselves before the Lord of all the earth. 6 The chariot with the black horses goes toward the north country, the white ones go after them, and the dappled ones go toward the south country.” 7 When the strong horses came out, they were impatient to go and patrol the earth. The Father is Greater than Jesus BEFORE and AFTER the Ascension

BEFORE THE ASCENSION- HUMAN JESUS   John 13:16 English Standard Version 16 Truly, truly, I say to you, a servant is NOT GREATER than his master, NOR is a messenger GREATER than the one who sent him.   John 10:29 English Standard Version 29  My Father ,  who has given them to me,  is GREATER THAN ALL,  and no one is able to snatch them out of the  Father's hand.   John 14:28 English Standard Version 28 You heard me say to you, ‘I am going away, and I will come to you.’ If you loved me, you would have rejoiced, because  I am going to the Father, for the Father is GREATER than I.   John 20:17 English Standard Version 17 Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father; but go to my brothers and say to them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, TO MY GOD AND YOUR GOD.’”       AFTER THE ASCENSION- EXALTED AND GLORIFIED JESUS   Revelation 1:1 English Standard Version 1 The...

Isaiah 8:12-13 & 1 Peter 3:14-15-Jesus is NOT Yahweh

Isaiah 8:12-13 & 1 Peter 3:14-15-Jesus is NOT Yahweh Isaiah 8:12-13 English Standard Version 12 “Do not call conspiracy all that this people calls conspiracy, and do not fear what they fear, nor be in dread. 13 But the Lord of hosts, him you shall honor as holy. Let him be your fear, and let him be your dread. 1 Peter 3:14-15 English Standard Version 14 But even if you should suffer for righteousness' sake, you will be blessed. Have no fear of them, nor be troubled, 15 but in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect When we see Yahweh passages being applied to Jesus in order to say he is God, we are committing a false equivalence fallacy. This is like...

A Breakdown of Philippians 2:5-11

A Breakdown of  Philippians 2:5-11 Trinitarians treat Philippians 2:5-11 as a proof text of Jesus' incarnation and divine nature. But upon closer inspection, the opposite is true. The word "form"/"appearance" is Morphe/Morphosis in the Greek. It is an external attribute. It has nothing to do with the internal nature of its subject. Below, I have provided a rendered version of Philippians 2:5-11 for readability purposes. Because of its complex constructions in the Greek, a lot of its meaning can be lost. This is apparent due to the various translations and interpretations we have on this passage.   Philippians 2:5-11 English Standard Version 5 Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, 6 who, though  he was in the form of God , did not count equality  with God  a thing to be g...

Jesus-The Mighty One of Isaiah 9:6

Jesus-The Mighty One of Isaiah 9:6 I saiah 9:1-7 English Standard Version 9  But there will be no gloom for her who was in anguish. In the former time he brought into contempt the land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali, but in the latter time he has made glorious the way of the sea, the land beyond the Jordan, Galilee of the nations. 2 The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light; those who dwelt in a land of deep darkness, on them has light shone. 3 You have multiplied the nation; you have increased its joy; they rejoice before you as with joy at the harvest, as they are glad when they divide the spoil. 4 For the yoke of his burden, and the staff for his shoulder, the rod of his oppressor, you have broken as on the day of Midian. 5 For every boot of the tramping warrior in battle tumult and every garment rolled in ...

Worship/Bowing Doesn't Make One God

Worship/Bowing Doesn't Make One God The following are the most common words associated with reverence/worship/honor.   The Hebrew word Shachah is to bow with respect and honor The Greek word Proskuneo is to bow with respect and honor The Greek word Latreuo is sometimes translated to serve, worship God, but it can be used for other things as well- Acts 7:42 and Romans 1:25. However, it is never used for Jesus in worship and serving.   When men are "worshipping" each other,  Shachah/Proskuneo is translated as bowing down in English. However, when Jesus and God are introduced into the text, this is where we see the inconsistency.  Unfortunately, translators presupposed that whenever Jesus is in the text that the English word bow should be changed into worship, so it is easy to be deceived into thinking Jesus is God. Below, we can see that ...
