Ezekiel 38 & 39 fulfilled in the Book of Esther
Ezekiel 38 & 39 fulfilled in the Book of Esther
Ezekiel 38 & 39 are one the most abused passages in the
Church today. These two passages have been misused to justify wacky end times
interpretations over countless generations. Because of the wacky
interpretations, Christians have been pumping millions of dollars in prophecy
conferences, movies, and books in order to justify their agendas. “Prophecy
experts” have to change their books every 50 years to stay relevant. Today, the
popular narrative (embraced by Dispensationalism) is that Russia will attack
Israel for oil and other resources sometime in the far future. This is problematic
because there is no mention of Russia and oil in Ezekiel 38 & 39. This is “read into the text” and we just nod in
agreement without weighing the evidence. In addition, the literal
interpretation of 7 years/7 months of burials and weapon burning conflicts (founded in Ezekiel
39) with the 7-year Great Tribulation and the Earthly Millennial Kingdom
timeline. Sadly, very few people take the time to do the research and compare scripture with scripture (People
compare scripture with the News/Media) in order to be consistent. By examining
certain phrases and passages, we can see significant connections between the
Book of Esther and Ezekiel 38 &39. Unfortunately, Bible translators have
tweaked a few words here and there to hide certain connections. I would
encourage others to meditate on this information and start questioning your
theology. You don’t have to go to seminary to ask questions.

After reading the verses and comparing them to each other,
it is difficult to simply dismiss a historical fulfillment of Gog and Magog
after the Babylonian Captivity. IF THIS IS TRUE, THERE IS NO BIG BATTLE WITH
RUSSIA AND ISRAEL DURING ARMAGEDDON. IT IS AN NON-EXISTENT EVENT. Now what about the
mention of Gog and Magog in Revelation 19 & 20? I believe that this is
borrowed imagery from the Old Testament. As we saw above, Haman commanded a
global attack on Ethnic Israel. In the future, we should expect an unknown
Anti-Christ(s) to command a global attack on Christians/Spiritual Israel as
well. Just like Esther, Christ will rescue his Church from genocide.
