Ezekiel 40, Isaiah 60, and Revelation 21 Parallel Chart

Ezekiel 40 and Revelation 21 Parallel Chart


It is popular to teach that Ezekiel 40-48/Isaiah 60 occurs during the 1,000 year Earthly Millennial Kingdom and Revelation 21 is the New Heavens/New Earth respectively. However, when you develop a parallel chart between both passages, this is NOT the case.

We see that Ezekiel 40/Isaiah 60 and Revelation 21 is talking about the SAME thing: A figurative description of the Beautiful Jewels/adornment of Christ's Church, not a literal structure. Therefore, the Premil reader is struck with massive confusion and dissonance. Either Ezekiel 40/Isaiah 60 and Revelation 21 are both talking about Heaven or they are both talking about the Millennial Kingdom. They are NOT different events! Support is below.

Revelation 12 V1-2: We see the same imagery of Joseph’s dream here in Genesis 37:9-11. Israel (representing Jerusalem as well in Matthew 2:18) is described as the Daughter of Zion-a dying mother; specifically, Rachel who died tragically during pregnancy.
