1 Corinthians 15:51-52 English Standard
Version 51 Behold! I tell you a mystery. We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52 in a moment, in the
twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the
dead will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed.
NOTE:
What are we being changed into? Christ. The word is “like,” not an exact copy
of Christ.
·
Zechariah 12:7-9 English Standard
Version 7 “And the Lord will give salvation to the tents of Judah first, that
the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem
may not surpass that of Judah. 8 On that day the Lord will protect the inhabitants of Jerusalem, so that the feeblest
among them on that day shall be like David, and the house of David shall be
like God, like the
angel of the Lord, going before them. 9 And on that day I will
seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.
NOTE:
Christ is also called the Son of David, God, and the angel of the Lord.
·
Luke 20:34-36 English Standard Version

creation itself will be set free from its bondage to corruption and obtain the
freedom of the glory of the children of God. 22 For we know that the whole
creation has been groaning together in the pains of childbirth until now. 23 And not only the creation, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits
of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for adoption as sons, the redemption
of our bodies.

2 Corinthians 5:2-5 English Standard
Version 2 For in this tent we groan, longing to put on our heavenly dwelling, 3

the flesh, our sinful passions, aroused by the law, were at work in our members
