John 1:6 English Standard Version 6 There was a man SENT FROM GOD, whose name was JOHN.

John 8:42 English Standard Version 42 JESUS said to them, “If God were your Father, you would love me, for I CAME FROM GOD and I am here. I came not of my own accord, but HE SENT ME.

NOTE:  "To be sent" and "come from God" are the same. Unless, we want to admit John the Baptist had a pre-existence in Heaven. See also 1 John 4:6. Jesus was brought forth by the Holy Spirit and given the Holy Spirit at Baptism. This is his Heavenly origin/source/authority.

 

John 3:17 English Standard Version 17 For God did not SEND his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.

 

John 16:21 English Standard Version 21 When a woman is giving birth, she has sorrow because her hour has come, but when she has delivered the baby, she no longer remembers the anguish, for joy that A HUMAN BEING HAS BEEN BORN INTO THE WORLD.


NOTE: John 16:21's Amplified Bible translation has "A CHILD HAS COME INTO THE WORLD." Both mean to be brought forth or to enter the scene. This is NOT pre-existence.

 

John 16:28 English Standard Version 28 I came FROM THE FATHER and HAVE COME INTO THE WORLD, and now I am leaving the world and going to the Father.”

Israel (representing Jerusalem as well in Matthew 2:18) is described as the Daughter of Zion-a dying mother; specifically, Rachel who died tragically during pregnancy.
